Victoria Partridge Walsh

Victoria Partridge Walsh, AIA, received her Master of Architecture from Yale University where she was awarded the John W. Storrs Scholarship and co-edited Retrospecta 2000-2001. While at Yale, Victoria was awarded the Gertraud A. Wood Traveling Fellowship for which she trekked across South America studying the effects of the modernist movement -- specifically Oscar Niemeyer's design for Brasilia. Victoria was also awarded the David M. Schwarz Architectural Services Good Times Award for which she studied religious buildings and monuments in Italy and Greece. Victoria earned her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Virginia where she was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and Chi Omega Sorority. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Victoria fondly recalls her first trip to New York City -- wearing an antebellum hoop skirt while marching in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. .
