Hannah Purdy

Hannah Purdy, AIA, is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Brown University, and received her Master of Architecture from Yale University, where she was awarded the James Gamble Rogers Scholarship and the Janet Cain Sielaff Alumni Award. Hannah co-edited Perspecta 34: Temporary Architecture (MIT Press, 2003) and assistant-edited various publications including Building a New Europe: Portraits of Modern Architects (Yale University Press, 2007.) In 2003, Hannah traveled through former Yugoslavia on the Steward Keefe LeBrun Travel Grant, examining the development, design, and funding of new mosques in Bosnia and Croatia. In addition to her work at Walsh & Purdy Architects, Hannah teaches at and is a board member of the non-profit Yestermorrow Design/Build School in Warren, VT. Originally from Chloe, West Virginia, Hannah was home-schooled on a rural farmstead and enjoys long distance running.
